Samsung The Frame’s technology to reproduce color accuracy by offering color technology that can be adapted to the lighting conditions of the room in order to provide better viewing of works of art has been registered by the international color standards organization Pantone.

Samsung Electronics announced that its 2024 model The Frame TV received the “Pantone Validated ArtfulColor” certificate from Pantone, the world-renowned authority on color standards. This certification recognizes The Frame’s advanced and adaptive color reproduction technology, which has a color reproduction capability that meets precise Pantone standards to deliver natural colors that are virtually indistinguishable to the human eye under standard lighting conditions.

Pantone Validated ArtfulColor evaluates whether displays faithfully reproduce a set of physical Pantone Color cards and the Pantone SkinTone color card under CIE standard illumination D65. This process uses illumination levels equivalent to or lower than average daylight in Western and Northern Europe. The Frame was the first TV in the world to meet this stringent verification. The certification further strengthens Samsung’s leadership in color accuracy, previously demonstrated by Pantone Certified status on all QLED TVs in 2022.

The Frame

The Art Mode included in the product is specially designed to display works of art and photographs with lifelike colors in standard lighting conditions such as home or gallery. It intelligently adjusts brightness and tones to optimize the image according to ambient lighting conditions, providing viewers with an immersive and natural artistic experience.

Equipped with Samsung’s latest QLED display technologies The Framehas previously received Pantone Validated and SkinTone Validated certifications for its ability to precisely deliver the full gamut of Pantone SkinTone colors and the entire broad spectrum of the 2,390 colors included in the Pantone Matching System (PMS). In addition, The Frame, which has a Matte Screen that significantly reduces glare and reflections, offers a comprehensive collection of approximately 2,300 works of art through the Samsung Art Gallery.

Google hasn’t explained how this works. Even if your connection is bad, the feature will continue to work at full speed. We can say that this will be something that will make things easier for users in many respects. Google Chrome will continue to be updated with more features.
