A special deal has surfaced that allows Google to avoid paying commission when users sign up for subscriptions using the music streaming service’s own payment system on Android. As part of the same deal, Spotify will also offer to google it paid only four percent commission; That’s much less than most other apps, which typically pay 15 percent for subscriptions through the Google Play Store.
