Netflix has produced many successful productions recently, and now they want one of them to come back. Here are all the details.

Netflix fans pour in positive reviews about a title five years after its release. American Vandal was created as a parody of true crime documentaries such as Making A Murderer and Serial, which have gained attention in recent years. The series follows two students, Sam Ecklund and Peter Maldonad, as they investigate a prank at their school. In the series, someone is accused of drawing obscene pictures on teachers’ cars. The school suspends student Dylan Maxwell for the crime, but when evidence emerges showing his innocence, Sam and Peter begin investigating the mystery to find the real culprit.

Netflix viewers started a movement to bring back the canceled series!

In the second season, Sam and Peter begin to investigate a series of pranks at a Catholic high school. Here, a mysterious person is caught adding a laxative to the cafeteria’s lemonade. The series pokes fun at the typical trends of classic Netflix documentaries like the recent hits American Murder: The Family Next Door and American Nightmare, while being hilarious and genuinely engaging at the same time.

Sam and Peter uncover details by conducting interviews, conducting experiments, reviewing video footage, digging into social media posts, looking at text messages, and even using Snapchat.

The first series debuted in September 2017, with the second arriving exactly a year later to critical acclaim, with both being nominated for a Primetime Emmy and a Critics’ Choice Television Award. However October In 2018, Netflix announced that it would cancel the series after two seasons. Viewers have been re-watching the series recently and once again recommending it as one of the “top five series” of the platform, while lamenting the cancellation of the series on the internet.
