Cybersecurity experts investigated the dark web market to track down credentials stolen from popular artificial intelligence and gaming-focused websites and came to the following conclusions.
34 million in the last three years roblox user’s credentials (login information and passwords) were captured by malware and leaked to the dark web.
In 2023, the number of stolen credentials of ChatGPT users increased 33 times compared to the previous year, and 664 thousand records containing logins and passwords were published on the dark web.
The credentials in question were stolen using infostealers, specialized malware designed to steal user logins and passwords by infecting personal and corporate devices through phishing and other methods.
The sale of compromised login credentials forms a significant part of the dark web market. Cybercriminals often buy and sell accounts from various online platforms and services.
These accounts are often initially stolen using data-stealing malware and then leaked to the dark web via skimmer log files, where they can be further monetized as valuable assets in the field of cybercriminal activities.
Attacks on artificial intelligence services have increased
From image editing, translation, transcribing, chatbots to voice generators, the credentials of various AI services are being compromised due to their growing popularity.
For example, in the last three years, the credentials of approximately 1 million 160 thousand users of the artificial intelligence-supported online graphic design tool Canva were compromised by data-stealing malware.
These credentials surfaced on dark web forums and Telegram channels. Approximately 839 thousand user credentials of Grammarly, another popular artificial intelligence assistant, were stolen between 2021 and 2023.
OpenAI, one of the most popular artificial intelligence companies, has also witnessed users’ credentials being leaked as a result of phishing activities.
Between 2021 and 2023, approximately 688 thousand ChatGPT credentials were compromised and located in dark channels. Especially in the last year when chatbots were widely adopted, the number of leaked logins and passwords increased approximately 33 times compared to the previous year, reaching approximately 664 thousand in 2023.
Roblox game poses a threat to children
Between 2021 and 2023, approximately 34 million credentials for the Roblox game were compromised and published on the dark web.
This has made the game a very fertile target for cybercriminals using information-stealing malware. Worryingly, the number of compromised accounts for this popular children’s game is gradually increasing every year.
In the last three years, this figure has increased by 231%, from approximately 4 million 700 thousand in 2021 to 15 million 500 thousand in 2023. Overall, the average number of compromised accounts across Twitch, Electronic Arts, Sony PlayStation, and Steam, along with 11 other random popular gaming platforms or combinations of games, has increased by 112% since 2021.
While there have been numerous cases of Roblox account login credentials being stolen, these are not the main items cybercriminals are searching for on the dark web.
Some other accounts are much more attractive to them. For example, the number of dark web posts selling or buying Steam accounts reached nearly 10 thousand between 2021 and 2023, while ads for stolen Roblox accounts remained below 150.

Google’s secret plans for artificial intelligence are no longer secret. The arrow is out of the bow. Here are the details…
At the end of last month Google It was reported that he was working on an autonomous artificial intelligence assistant codenamed Jarvis. A recent mistake made by the company confirmed the existence of this new artificial intelligence. According to The Information, the technology giant accidentally published Jarvis’ extension in Chrome’s web store. Users noticed Jarvis and downloaded it. However, the prototype did not work because it required artificial intelligence access permission. Google quickly realized the situation and removed Jarvis from the store.
Jarvis is published in the Chrome store with the description “A companion that surfs the web with you.” This feature of Jarvis was also emphasized in the previous report. It is stated that the new artificial intelligence is designed to perform various tasks, such as making hotel or restaurant reservations, conducting various research about a place and presenting information to the user. In addition, it is said that Jarvis will take images of what is on the computer screen and make predictions for actions, such as clicking a button or writing in a text field.
Google is expected to introduce its innovations in the Large Language Model (LLM) next month, and Jarvis will probably become official at this presentation. Everything has already been revealed with the mistake made. On the other hand, Google plans to restructure by integrating artificial intelligence into its business processes. This situation will potentially affect 30 thousand employees. It is stated that the technology giant is considering reducing its workforce for its artificial intelligence move.

Google May Bring Quick Share Feature to iOS and macOS Soon
Google is taking steps to bring its popular Quick Share feature to iOS and macOS platforms.
Google is taking steps to bring its popular Quick Share feature to iOS and macOS platforms.
Quick Share was launched in 2020 as a service that allows file transfer over the local network and provides fast and efficient file sharing between Android devices. However, Apple’s closed ecosystem policies make it difficult for this feature to work on iOS and macOS devices.
One of the main reasons why iPhone users do not have this feature is the restrictive approach in Apple’s operating system policies. iOS and macOS are closed-source systems, limiting third parties like Google from directly integrating their apps. That’s why Android users may have to look for other solutions to share files with those in the Apple ecosystem.
However, a bug fix note spotted by Android Authority includes references to Quick Share for iOS and macOS. This may indicate Google’s efforts to bring Quick Share to Apple devices. For iOS and macOS users, this development may enable the Nearby Links API used behind Quick Share to take on an important role for cross-platform file sharing.
This move is an important step towards making file sharing easier between Android devices and Apple products. it could be. Google will need to make some technical adjustments to make Quick Share compatible with Apple’s privacy and App Store policies, but it could be a huge convenience for users.
Another interesting aspect of this development is that OnePlus included a feature called “Share with iPhone” in the OxygenOS 15 update it introduced recently. OnePlus has developed a special application to enable easy file sharing with Apple devices. Such innovations can increase competition in the industry by making the cross-platform file sharing experience much more accessible for users.
