“HPE Aruba Networking Central accelerates AI networking with next-generation cloud-native management designed to improve network automation with AI-powered insights for evolving customer needs now and into the future,” said David Hughes, CTO of HPE Aruba Networking. “Extending AI-powered insights to improve network and security visibility to products from other vendors in the industry puts our customers in a position to implement their AI network strategies by providing a major advantage in their ability to control, predict and manage their networks,” Hughes added.

by HPE OpsRamp acquired in 2023enhances the contextual network monitoring capability of HPE Aruba Networking Central by providing insights from network devices such as wireless access points, switches, firewalls, and routers from a wide range of manufacturers. This new option helps reduce blind spots in heterogeneous networks and speeds up overall health monitoring and troubleshooting functions.

In addition, HPE Aruba Networking Central’s Digital Experience Monitoring (DEM) capabilities have been expanded by natively integrating into the HPE Aruba Networking User Experience Insight (UXI) interface. This feature, when combined with HPE Aruba Networking UXI sensors, enables continuous monitoring of service level agreement (SLA) compliance from user to application from a single pane.

HPE Aruba Networking Central’s device management to further simplify network configurations at scale; It includes a common configuration model for HPE Aruba Networking wired, wireless, and gateway products, new hierarchical configuration features, and the addition of 90 new APIs.

“Deploying, upgrading and patching a global network is a complex and time-consuming process,” said Keven McCammon, Global Head of Digital Infrastructure Services at Henkel Corporation. “With the latest release of HPE Aruba Networking Central, we expect automation that will reduce the deployment process in more than 400 facilities from weeks to hours,” he said.

All the aforementioned improvements will be further enhanced by the better-trained AI model added in the last six months, which significantly reduces the time and effort of planning, deploying, managing, troubleshooting and optimizing networks. Retrained and tuned AI models are now fed from a data lake containing telemetry from more than 4.6 million network-managed devices and more than 1.6 billion customer endpoints. This points to exponential growth in 2024.

Earlier this year, HPE Aruba Networking announced that it was expanding its AIOps network management capabilities by integrating multiple generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) Large Language Models (LLMs) into HPE Aruba Networking Central. In 2024, HPE introduced new AI-powered security observability and monitoring capabilities with HPE Aruba Networking Central, along with behavioral analytics-based network detection and response (NDR) capabilities offered by HPE Aruba Networking Central, to help address IoT security risks.

HPE Aruba Networking Central is a cloud-scale network management solution sold as SaaS. It is also part of the HPE GreenLake for Networking (NaaS) subscription offered through the HPE GreenLake platform. AI Networking capabilities will be available as a public preview starting in October 2024. Third-party monitoring, UXI integration, and certain device configuration features will be added to the public preview release before the end of 2024.

The team left the studio that developed Disco Elysium and started to develop a game that treads similar waters to the popular game in their newly established studio.

Disco Elysium, the RPG game released in 2019, turned into one of the most pleasant surprises of that year thanks to its advanced role-playing mechanics. The game received word-of-mouth praise and thus demonstrated an extremely impressive sales performance. So a sequel seemed inevitable. However, divisions within the studio that developed the game resulted in the cancellation of this sequel. The people who left that studio are now working on a brand new game.

A group of game developers leaving ZA/UM, the studio behind Disco Elysium, have formed a new game studio called Longdue Games. Longdue Games now has a new RPG game that treads similar waters with Disco Elysium is developing. It is said that this will be a spiritual sequel to DE. So, even though it is not a real sequel, it will continue to keep alive what made that game special.

Apple Will Compete with Facebook with Cheap Vision Pro

The team behind Apple Vision Pro wants to say that they are in the competition by developing more eye-catching and affordable devices. It will be Apple’s retaliation against Facebook, Meta.

The team behind Apple Vision Pro wants to say that they are in the competition by developing more eye-catching and affordable devices. It will be Apple’s retaliation against Facebook, Meta.

Apple’s $3500 Vision Pro glasses will remain doomed as a heavy and expensive niche product. Meta, on the other hand, achieved success with its less ambitious but lighter and cheaper Ray-Ban smart glasses. However, Meta also introduced a prototype glasses for augmented reality, which could be the future of computing. But Apple is planning to go on the offensive against Meta and other rival companies.

According to Mark Gurman, a familiar name from Bloomberg, the Vision Pro developer team is working on four new devices. The cheaper Vision Pro is expected to be released early or in the first half of next year. Vision Pro 2, with a faster chip and new features, will be available in 2026. Apple’s cheap mixed reality glasses will cost $2000. The device will probably use a low-power processor and cheaper materials. Additionally, there will be no EyeSight feature, which shows the user’s eyes from outside the glasses. Apple expects sales of the cheaper model to be at least twice that of the Vision Pro.

Vision Pro

Apple is considering releasing smart glasses similar to Meta Ray-Ban and launching AirPods with cameras by 2027. The goal is to save billions of dollars spent on Vision Pro’s visual intelligence technology, which can scan its environment and provide useful data. We will see what visual intelligence technology is like in the iPhone 16 soon. Apple wants to add Vision Pro’s ability to scan and understand its environment to more products. The only problem for Apple is that it can’t release new technology fast enough. The company is chasing Meta’s glasses in the competition with a product that will not be available for sale for the next few years and is still trying to catch up on artificial intelligence.

Frankly, the world is not waiting for Apple, and the company is not leading many critical new technologies. It’s especially difficult when there are competitors that inspire and innovate the new generation of users. This situation is scary for the future of the company. The Cupertino-based firm has a stable revenue base of about $400 billion a year, but not everything can go well for Apple, and Apple can’t survive forever.
