Recently, some employees from Ballistic Moon stated on LinkedIn that they were laid off. Until Dawn‘s producer made a statement on the issue while accepting the layoffs. The studio’s statement is as follows: “As the gaming industry continues to face complex challenges, we at Ballistic Moon have faced challenges as well. To secure the future of our studio, we decided to downsize our team. It was a difficult decision. We are deeply saddened by this. This decision was made after we developed Until Dawn for PC and PS5.
We would like to thank and express our gratitude to each and every employee for their work, dedication and commitment to our company. It’s incredibly difficult to say goodbye to our talented and passionate teammates. “We are extremely sorry for the impact the restructuring will have on our employees and their families.”
Ballistic Moon has once again confirmed that it is focusing on Until Dawn Remake and that the game will be released on October 4. Layoffs also took place at Rocksteady this week.
